GE’s power technology generates a quarter of the world’s daily electricity. Now, that’s a lot of power! Today there are nearly 10,000 GE gas turbines installed around the world. In this visualization, we took a look at 713 of these gas turbines over the course of 2 weeks to see just how much energy is produced.
