Football fans gathered around the television on Sunday evening for the Super Bowl are sometimes as entertained by the commercials as they are by the big game. Chevy has purchased ad time during the popular event to showcase the Volt, an extended-range electric vehicle.
With the tagline “From the coolest car on the block to the smartest technology in the galaxy,” the commercial features aliens confused about the concept of the car. The car’s owner explains the way the Chevy Volt switches from battery power to gasoline power for longer trips.
