A GE 1 MW solar power plant has the capacity to generate more than 1,500 MWh of electricity per year, avoiding the emission of more than 930 metric tons of CO2 from traditional US grid sources, equivalent to the annual CO2 emissions of over 180 cars on US roads.
Operating Benefits
A GE 1 MW solar plant has the capacity to generate more than 1,500 MWh of electricity per year, which would require the equivalent of approximately 15 million cubic feet of natural gas to be generated by traditional US grid sources.
