PGT25+/G4 DLE

GE’s PGT25+ DLE and PGT 25+G4 DLE are GE’s LM2500+ and LM2500+ G4 aeroderivative gas generators coupled with industrial high-speed power turbines that can be used for power generation and mechanical drive applications. They offer the highest efficiency in the 29-32 and 32-35 MW classes respectively, reducing CO2 emissions and fuel costs per unit power output. The DLE (Dry Low Emissions) combustion system has been developed specifically for industrial use where it can meet stringent emission requirements with no water or steam consumption.

Environmental Benefits

At baseload conditions, GE's PGT25+ DLE aeroderivative gas turbine operating on natural gas has an efficiency of 41%, the highest in the 29 - 32 MW power range. Compared to an aeroderivative gas turbine with an efficiency of 38.4% at baseload conditions, GE's PGT25+ DLE emits approximately 7,700 fewer metric tons of CO2 per year for 30 MW of output, equivalent to the annual CO2 emissions of approximately 1,500 cars on US roads.

Operating Benefits

At baseload conditions, GE's PGT25+ DLE aeroderivative gas turbine operating on natural gas has an efficiency of 41%, the highest efficiency in the 29 - 32 MW power range. Compared to an aeroderivative gas turbine with an efficiency of 38.4% at base load conditions, PGT25+ DLE consumes approximately 130,000 fewer MMBTU of natural gas per year for 30 MW of output, yielding an annual savings of approximately $735,000 at a natural gas price of $5.47/MMBTU.
