Environmental Benefits
GE's Optima CT660 Series scanner is designed to reduce electricity consumption for operation and ambient cooling by more than 10,000 kWh per machine annually, a savings of more than 15% compared to prior GE technology. With its Energy Saving Mode activated during evenings and weekends, the Optima CT660 Series scanner can reduce electricity consumption by an additional 23,000 kWh, or 45% per machine per year. This can avoid the emission of a total of 20 metric tons of CO2 per year on the US grid, equivalent to the annual CO2 emissions of 4 cars on US roads.
Operating Benefits
GE's Optima CT660 Series scanner is designed to reduce electricity consumption for operation and ambient cooling by more than 10,000 kWh per machine annually, a savings of more than 15% compared to prior GE technology. With its Energy Saving Mode activated during evenings and weekends, the Optima CT660 Series scanner can reduce electricity consumption by an additional 23,000 kWh, or 45% per machine per year. This could yield a total annual savings of over $3,300 per CT system, assuming an electricity price of $0.10 per kWh.
