The ArdenACCESS enterprise building automation platform, used exclusively at GE Capital Real Estate properties, is being piloted at 15 properties with full-service gross leases. Through use of the ArdenACCESS platform, a typical 140,000 square foot office building could reduce its energy consumption by 9% or approximately 250,000 kWh annually, avoiding over 150 metric tons CO2 emissions on the US grid. This is equivalent to the annual CO2 emissions of approximately 30 cars on US roads.
Operating Benefits
ArdenACCESS, used exclusively at GE Capital Real Estate properties, is being piloted at 15 properties with full-service gross leases. Through use of the ArdenACCESS platform, tenants in a typical 140,000 square foot office building could benefit from over $16,000 of operating cost savings per year, approximately 60% of the total year one savings according to modeled data. Over the assumed GE ownership period of eight years, 20% of the total saving will be passed through to tenants, ~ $46,000.
